A month back, when YouTube was down for maintenance, they had put up some photos of their office...showing where the magic is being created. For "social" websites like Flickr and YouTube, I think website users are pretty keen and curious in knowing what the geeks going on behind the scenes. So overall an excellent way not to put off users coming to your website and finding it down for repairs.
